Allpony found a special kid named Marion who is now a brand ambassador for Allpony! Marion shared some information with us about her riding experience, about her pony, and how she continues to learn about horses and horsemanship.

The goal of Allpony is to inspire kids to learn about horses, and we hope the Allpony Junior Brand Ambassadors will inspire other kids to learn more about horses and ponies too.

Tell Us a Little About Yourself & Your Pony.

My pony’s name is Home Run Bound or Scout. We do the medium ponies and equitation. We ride at a barn called Irish Oaks in Pfafftown, North Carolina. Scout loves treats, grass, and jumping. I really like jumping, and doing derbies. Scout is a dark bay. His breed is a pony cross. He is 13.1 7/8 hands. On April 14, 2020 we will be celebrating his 12th birthday.

What Ways Do You Learn About Horsemanship (ex. taking care of ponies/horses, learning about tack, breeds, coat colors, gaits, etc.)?

I learned How to groom, tack up, and the basic stuff when I first started riding. Now as I advance in my riding I learn as I go! I have a couple books I have read as well. Since I have gotten Scout I have learned how to poultice, clip, wrap, hoof pack etc.
